WAHL is a reputable brand that I trust.

Very good clippers had a pair in the past never filled me but eventually they get dull as time goes on. It was time for a new trimmer.

I've had this same model for about 10 years and although this new one is sharp and cuts great, it gets hot very fast. I did notice that it's so much lighter than the old one. Even the cord and plug are much lighter duty also. I stopped to oil and cleaned the new one 3 times in just one facial hair trimming and not only the blades got hot as they touched my face, but the body on the device was also warm to the touch. It may be just great though, for shorter trims, maybe it will break in and be just fine, or maybe I got that million to one lower quality clipper off the assembly line. Wahl makes great clippers though, and I used them all my life and in about 30 years this is only the 3rd one I've had to buy. I do my haircuts also with them, so they see quite a lot of use. You may want to consider upgrading from this one to a more heavy-duty pro type Wahl which is only like $40-50 and I'd bet it'd last a lifetime or at least the over 2 decades I got out of the first 2 clippers
