Here are the pros for this razor: 1) It cuts well! 2) It has a ton of different attachments for different lengths and cut type. 3) It comes with a nice pouch to hold everything. The cons: 1) It just feels too light and makes it hard to use. 2) The straight edge cut (with no attachments on) isn't as clean as I would expect it to be. I've had a very nice and expensive set of clippers for the last 10 years that I use to cut my own hair, but using it for my beard or touching up around my ears was always a little more difficult because they are so bulky. I decided to buy this Wahl Trimmer specifically to use for my beard and touch up around my ears and back of my neck. I love these Wahl Trimmers! This trimmer is compact and easy to travel with. However, it's geared more toward trimming a beard rather than clipping hair on your head. Despite the fact that the package includes guards for clipping hair on your head and pictures indicating that this device is capable of such a feat, it falls short of meeting expectations in that regard. While attempting to buzz my head with the included #2 guard, little to nothing was accomplished. From that standpoint, I was unimpressed. However, the device is small enough to where I could accurately clean up the hair around my ears with ease. This device likely will not replace your standard hair clippers if you have them, but will likely make a great addition to your beard trimming collection. This trimmer set comes fully loaded with guards in so many sizes. It lets me trim my beard to just the right length. The trimmer also has nice consistent power, which is not always the case with these types of trimmers. Also important to note is that the cord is long if your outlet isn't close by. In a nutshell, it works as intended. I just used this for the first time, it came with a lot of accessories and 3 detachable blade systems (trimmer, detailer and clipper). I love that it came with a soft case with 2 compartments... I don't have to keep the product box. On the other side, it's a bit nosier that I expected but not a deal breaker. The accessories are a bit hard to remove and I'm not sure if the clipper will be able to easily do my entire head if I let my hair grow too much... but I'm sure it will work fine for touch ups. Bottom line, I'd recommend it for it's versatility to do small jobs but I think I'll keep my full size clipper for big jobs on my head. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
