Wal-Mart Deli Amish Potato Salad, 32 oz

I was very disapointed with this potato salad. It was super super sweet. Way too much sugar. I had to fix it or throw it out. I added more mayo...mustard...pickle juice...vinegar and hard boiled eggs. I don't know if it was a bad batch and was made wrong, but it was too too sweet.

love this potato salad...buy it every week..only complaint is they need to cook potato's longer.. the bigger chunks are not cooked all the way thru and are too crunchy like a semi raw potato....don't get me wrong because I still like the flavor and I do buy it on every order..just don't care for the few partially cooked potato's I get in each container..

This product used to taste much different than it does now. I'm not sure if the quality of ingredients has gone down during the pandemic or what the problem is but it's not the same potato salad that it was a year ago. Very disappointing and the same cause for the Amish macaroni salad. I used to love these products and now I won't buy them anymore because the quality of taste just isn't there.

The potato salad was good in the past. I introduced to co-workers at work and they liked it but the recipe changed. The problem is the potatoes are hard and not chewy. It is obvious that the potatoes are not cooking anymore. I think the company stopped cooking the potatoes in the recipe to save money. This was a mistake.

High fructose corn syrup. I wasn't expecting that to be in it so I overlooked it in the ingredients. The description made me think maybe its close to average homemade potato salad. I do like the larger cut potatoes. They make the first taste fine, but sweet. What I would describe as the sauce does have some spices but it is still bland. Is it be good enough to bring to a gathering? Its okay if it's put out with a variety of other foods, but I wouldn't be happy to say I brought it. However I make good potato salad(s). If you 'have a taste for' potato salad you'll probably be disappointed. .
