Product was fine but had to return it to store because warehouse that shipped it did not activate SIM card. 2 hours standing in Walmart while they tried to fix it. Very disappointed.

I live in the Burlingame area. The service is pretty good here and I get 4G data, in my apartment. No dropped calls or bad reception was experience by me. So for this price...with unlimited data and calling - this is super awesome. Bye bye Verizon!

had to order on line which they did not activate so had to return it and get one at local store due to the center forgot to activate but new one works great

We switched to Walmart Family Mobile from StraightTalk. We had a few incidents with StraightTalk that had us looking for another carrier. So far we are really happy with Family Mobile. I would definitely make the switch again!

I purchased it online, picked up in store the same day and walked it over to the mobile phone counter and had the service transferred. It took about 15 minutes in store with no problems. I see no difference in calls, texts, surfing or using apps from my previous overly expensive carrier. In fact, I have better signal strength at home and work! This is definitely the way to go if you want to save money and not be tied down to a cell plan.
