This Washburn mandolin utilizes rope purfing on the top edge, along with a very slim, playable and comfortable maple neck, a classic rosewood fingerboard to get those fingers running up and down some scales, as well as a rosewood bridge. As half of the famous musical/comedy duo, Homer & Jethro, Jethro Burns was considered the greatest mandolin player of his time.
