Filtrete Water Pitcher

I suggest you use the Filtrete water filter for your water because it cleans the water out thoroughly and removes all nitrates, bacteria and other perameters found in your water. For example, during our expirement in Chemistry we tested our Filtrete water filter with tap water. We found out how much perameters was found in the water. Then we used the filter to see how much it will remove and it turned out to remove all of the Chlorine. Chlorine was one of the highest perameters found in our water. The amount of Chlorine that was found in our water was one ppm but when we used the Filtrete filter it went back to 0 ppm. However, it did not do a good job on removing the water hardness found in our water but other than that I feel like the Filtrete filter is a good filter to use.

This product seems ridiculous. It is fast because it doesn't filter anything but chlorine. All the others filter much more than chlorine so filtrete should make it very apparent on the box that this it DOES NOT filter out metals, etc. I would not have got it if it did. now i have to return it - just a waste if time.

I was looking to reduce the number of water bottles I was discarding, so I bought this pitcher to filter my tap water. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The water tastes great, with no tin or chlorine taste. i am not fond of the systems that have a filter constantly hanging in the water, and this was a great alternative to those.

Rated this 3 instead of 5 stars because the pitcher is very top heavy so you have to use 2 hands and also the top does not twist on so you have to hold it on while pouring. Makes it a little inconvienient because you have to sit your cup on the table so you have two hands to pour the thing. The water tastes great though and the filter lasts as long as it is supposed to and is not very expensive when it comes time for replacement.

I live in a small town in Oklahoma and the water has a very bad taste to it that none of us would drink even made food made with water taste nasty, we knew we needed to get a pitcher but most are either to expensive or too small, we bought a 12 cup pitcher and the taste is gone, i love how fast the pitcher fills up, so far we are very happy and will continue to refer your products to our friends.
