Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser, Brilliant Black

Great product but requires 1 to 2 refills to do the entire mouth right. Like that I can set the intensity. The leak plug for transporting the empty machine is a good touch. I like that I can use it in the shower.. It remains to be seen if my hygienist and dentist are happy with my use of this waterpik product.

My dentist & hygienist recommended that I get this product. It takes a little getting used to, but now it's as easy as pie! It does NOT take the place of regular floss & soft-picks, but supplements them! My periodontal pockets are ones and twos, and that's the way I want to keep them!

This is my first cordless water flosser after going thru 2 previous water flossers with a tank, the most recent the Waterpik Aquarius. It may be a matter of getting used to it, but maneuverability is obviously not as good as the smaller corded wand and the small built-in tank hold barely enough water to adequately floss 1 row of teeth on high speed. Almost impossible to add salt to my water now too. The hole where you add water is small and not at bottom so concerned about mold getting in it as hard to completely empty out...unless you unlock and remove the bottom piece from the unit which is not an easy task. I love the portability of this unit for travelling but otherwise miss my Aquarius.

I wasn't sure if I would like the lower water capacity of the cordless model as opposed to the countertop models, but I have used the cordless for a few weeks and love it. I am so glad I didn't purchase a countertop model. Rarely do I have to refill the water in order to get all my teeth flossed. Some days I actually floss more than once because it is so much easier than using string floss.

This is my second one because the first one was leaking within a month of purchase. The second one leaking in the same places. Bad product.
