Tornadoes, hurricanes and lightening can be exhilarating, fascinating and terrifying all at the same time. "Stormchasers" introduces elementary-age students to the science of weather. "Stormchasers" is hosted by Max Orbit, a science-enthusiast, who helps viewers learn about what weather is and what causes weather conditions and climate. Viewers will come to understand the relationship between water, air and heat and how they interact to make weather happen. This program also discusses meteorologists and the many instruments they use to predict weather. The program also features easy-to-do, fun, hands-on activities and great ideas for science fair projects.
