WAYNE WLS150 1 1/2 HP Permanent Lawn Sprinkling Pump

This is not an easy install as the wiring diagram is a not very detailed and the wring connection space limited. The pump comes with two short lead wires that are likely 20 gauge or smaller. My wiring form the panel is 14 gauge and I am having a hard time getting those three wires into the pump wiring space. Its cramped and almost impossible to fit 14 gauge wires in there. I will attach a waterproof electrical box to the pump and connect the wires in that box. Electrical cover panel screwed on so tight I had to use a locking pliers to unscrew. Poor design and lack of detail wiring instructions makes this pump a 2 out of 5 stars! We will see how it performs when I finally have it hooked up! Regret making this purchase and the store it way to far to return pump.

I use my Wayne Sprinkler Pump to pump water uphill from a creek to a 2 acre garden, Works great to keep lots of Veggies watered. It also is use to water our fruit tree's! Great Pump!

dThe duration of operation before failure seemed excessively short. At less than or 18 months, the pump, though still functioning, began to fail due to loadup on the shaft. Had to be replaced and did not live up to expectations.

Super Pump - hooked to 1500 gallon rainwater cistern and used to water 11 acre farm! Fabulous value!

The electric motor is dead after one season. I had pump covered with a small shed to keep the rain off during the watering season. For the winter I stored it in an enclosed building in Virginia. The pump worked very well for three months.
