My name is James. I use WD 40 to keep spiders from re-building webs in my screened in swimming pool. If one sprays the beams that prop up the screens, spider webs do not stick. I live in south FLA, and now is rainy season.Much to my surprise the WD40 remained in tact and no spider webs after three weeks! I also removed webs from other parts of the pool area and the webs were back in two to three DAYS!! Only the areas where I sprayed WD40 are there NO webs!! Thanks WD40 for a great product. James Cotmon
These new cans run out of propellant with half of the product still in the can. Numerous other reviewers have reported the same problem. I now have 3 cans of used WD-40 that are half full. There won't be a fourth! The old "Stupid Straw" worked much better.
sorry, maybe I found a bad batch, but the smart straw thing was a stupid idea. I've purchased 3 of these, and will never use your product again until you go back to the original spray can. I ended up eventually throwing those 3 away, because they sprayed on everything except what I wanted them to. Great product, Terrible can.
i have been useing wd-4o for a long time. i swear by it and it has never failed to do the job for me, but with the new smart straw cans i find that more often than not i do not get all of the wd-40 out of the can before the propelant is gone. it does not mater what size can i use i end up with unusable wd-40. please correct this.
Just picked up my first can with smart straw and very disappointed. There is serious blow-by where the pivoting straw meets the nozzle. This results in 1/2 the WD-40 dribbling down the can and the other half coming out the straw. That is of course assuming the straw is at the perfect angle to match with the can nozzle....if its off by just a little...all of the wd-40 will dribble down the can. Always loved WD-40, just want the original can with the detachable straw.
