Weed Eater Featherlite 1500 Gas Blower

I've had this blower 3 years. Not easy to start. Has enough airflow for light duty. Handle came loose last year and was quite a pain to re-attach. I acutally wound up clipping some of the plastic guard around the engine to be able to get the nut back on the bolt holding the handle on. Something has been loose in the blower for awhile and causes a grinding noise when you change directions (ie sweeping from right to left then back). Pay more and get a decent one to start with.

This is one of the biggest pieces of junk I"ve ever owned. It's very temperamental to try to start and keep running, cheap plastic pieces started breaking almost immediately, and the pull cord is now worn down to about half its original size. Do yourself a favor. Pay a little more and get a good one.

Great price and worked well for about 5 months, then had trouble with pull cord getting tough to pull, and won't real back in. Now after 7 months won't start at all. Also spark plug is irregular size so standard spark plug socket doesn't fit. Didn't even try to take it back, will spend a little more for a better product.

I bought one back in November and used it only 5 times and the cord broke on it. I would recommend buying a better brand.

Was very pleased with blower. I thought the price was real fair. I have lower back problems and the blower just weights 7 and 1/2 pounds. It is a gas blower to with no electric cord to drag around. I diden't price the electric blowers but I bet you would pay about that much for and elecric model.
