They have an easy screw top on them and come with a dry erase marker to write on the lid for the contents. The containers come in a box of 12 and are 4 ounces each. There are 6 different color lids. I put liquid in one and shook it and set it on its side and upside down and it did not leak. The containers are made in the U.S.A. and made by a small family owned business. They look and feel like they are made of a good quality material and seem to be tough. Should last through many uses and washings.
