So I dont know about most babies, but I know about my son and he HATES baby food getting him to eat baby food is like pulling teeth and it just ends up being wasted, and if you all are the average joe like me you know that baby stuff starts to get expensive. With this product I put in any kind of pureed/mashed up food I like which is typically Fruits and veggies, for when we're on the go/long car rides. They wash nicely, I typically soak them in hot soapy water, and it in hot soapy water and rinse them out. They dont hold on to the smells of the previous food In them!
These Natures Little Squee÷ pouches are not something I would buy. Granted there are 6 reusable pouches that can be washed and reused and are even freezer safe, but for me I would be more likely to purchase iitems that are packed in small quanity and disposable. I would prefer to buy products larger than 5 oz. Even if this means a litte waste. For babies, most things come in small sizes and to just throw the package away when your done with the item to me seems less work that cleaning these pouches and reusing. Unfortunatly, this is not sn item I would buy.
I'm really loving these awesome double lock zipper food pouches! I bought a large thing of applesauce so I don't have to spend money on the disposable pouches every week and it cut my cost in half! I put oatmeal in these and my daughter loves it. However you need to rinse them out immediately after or it's a bit difficult to get the oatmeal out of the mouthpiece. I would invest in a small scrubber for it. It's quiet easy to clean out but anything chunky like oatmeal linger in the bag but I have a small hand so I can manually remove it. These work great with the baby food freezer trays, just pop it in here and leave it in the fridge to thaw out over night! It is a bit harder to get all of whatever you're putting in these, in there without a mess. I've tried using a good funnel thing but then stuff got stuck in it. That's one of the only knocks I have. It is top rack dishwasher safe which is a win! Overall this will save you money and is convenient. I'll buy more.
*keep cap away from children under 3* Wasn't sure how these were going to work but I like them. You unzip the bottom of the pouch to fill or clean. The rounded design mean no corners to trap food. Really like how they are so safe & Earth friendly. PVC, Phthalate & BPA free; dishwasher & freezer safe. Not good for liquids (cap opening is too large) but perfect for food like applesauce. Great for taking frozen yogurt or smoothies that kind of melt before lunch. You could save a lot of $ by making your own food or buying larger size units instead of the expensive, wasteful individual ones. Recommend buying extra lids because they are not attached.
These were very easy to use and very convenient. They were much larger than I thought, therefore my 18 month old had two squeezable snacks out of each one. They are hard to clean unless you have a straw cleaning brush to ensure cleanliness as I don't want to put in dishwasher just to make them last longer
