WeeSprout Double Zipper Reusable Food Pouches for Babies & Toddlers, Animals, 5 fl oz

This product is a storage container for soft or mashed foods. It can be used for liquids or thickened foods. This is used by myself for my elderly Mother. It allows her to eat food and not have to spoon the food, Each bag has a threaded screw on top and a ribbed closure on the bottom and this is the way I fill it up. I find it hard to close cause the food gets in the ridges and it will sometimes leak out. The idea is nice and I have gotten better with the filling of the containers. This is an item which could easily be used for young children and keep the items they eat at a controlled intake with no additives. I put them on the top shelf of the dishwasher and they clean up well. I just rinse after use. This product allows you to use your own food and have the ability of the bag for them to eat from. A product to give home made food and not from a factory.

I see things like this and even though I don't have little ones (other than a new born great grandchild)I tend to have ideas of things I could use something like that for. I got these because I thought they looked like a good and convenient way to take my home made coffee creamer to work with me and not have to worry about a glass bottle or jar. I did a trial run by putting just plain water in one to test it out. Leaving it lay on the counter and it did seem to leak a little and I was having to wipe up water the next morning. I'm not sure yet if I just didn't have it sealed good or what, and am still playing with it and checking it out. My home made coffee creamer will be a little thicker than just plain water, but close. I do however think that they would work great for thicker things like home made pureed food for feeding a baby. I like the size of them as I like to make different flavors of home made coffee creamer, and this would be perfect for taking a week worth of different flavors without taking up a lot of room. I'm hoping I get them to work for what I want, but the nice thing is if not I can give them to my grandson for them to use for my great granddaughter.

I love these pouches where you fill them with whatever YOU want be it juice or anything you may purée. They also have replacement tops as you just know those will get lost just like socks in the washer. Thoate easier for her to hold onto as well. Love them !

NOT SURE WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THE WEE SPROUT NATURES LITTLE SQUEEZE POUCHES. THEY ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AS THE POUCHES THAT BABY FOODS COME THAT YOU PURCHASE READY TO EAT. IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T THINK THAT THEY WOULDN'T BE DURABLE BECAUSE I'M SURE THE ONES ON THE SHELF WITH FOOD IN THEM HAVE TO BE TOUGH. MY PROBLEM IS THE CLEANING. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CLEAN BUT I JUST DON'T THINK THERE IS A PRACTICAL WAY TO GET THEM REALLY CLEAN. IT MAY JUST BE ME BUT THAT'S HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT SO I REALLY WOULDN'T WANT TO USE THEM MYSELF.

I love the idea of making your own baby foods...that way you know exactly what is in their food....unless Im not understandingq+ this product...how do you fill these squeeze pouches...and I'm alittle skeptical of how to clean and santitize the pouches?...sorry but I not sure about the food squeeze pouches.
