I received the WeeSprout Silicone Baby Food Freezer Tray with Clip-on Lid - Perfect Storage Container for Homemade Baby Food, Vegetable & Fruit Purees and Breast Milk (BPA Free & FDA Approved) for free through the Walmart Spark Review Program. The WeeSprout Silicone Baby Food Freezer Tray has one large hard plastic lid that snaps on with ease and does allow for convenient stacking of freezer trays, but because lids are not individual to sections, If it tips, contents of cubes will spill into each other if not frozen. If it weren't for this, I would have given it 5 stars. The tray is made of silicone which is naturally bacteria, odor and stain resistant which is great to store leftover homemade baby food and even breast milk. I have found that these trays make great ice cubes (or popsicle) for drinks and a fun gumdrop shaped jello mold. The possibilities are endless on that you can use these trays for. The soft pliable silicone tray makes (the frozen ice cubes or) whatever you put into it “pop out” extremely easily for individual serving. These trays can also be used for baking (such as mini cupcakes) the silicone is able to be heated up to 425 degrees and is also microwave safe. The WeeSprout Silicone Baby Food Freezer Tray is very versatile and a great addition to any kitchen.

I love the versatility of these food trays. They can be used in the freezer, microwave and oven. That makes them so much more useful. Frozen foods pop out easily from the flexible cells and are a good serving size. These can also be used for freezing and baking foods other than just for babies and make a great mold for a single servings of cake or gelatin desserts. There are some things that make these trays less useful. One thing is that the tray is not square and so it wastes space in a small freezer. The other is that they are made of silicon so they can go into the microwave or oven but only one or two servings would be needed at a time so food servings would need to be transferred to another container. The whole tray would most likely never be used as a warming tray for baby food portions, so probably would never be used in the microwave or oven. These would be better made with separate, removable cells. My grandson is a toddler and no longer on mother's milk so I froze blueberries and cream in each cell. When I tipped the tray, cream seeped out. This means that if using it to freeze liquids, one would need to be careful that it is stored flat.

This is a very well made silicone cube type freezer tray for baby food and so much more! The silicone is thick and each cube is webbed to another. The tip has individual clips on each of the outside cubes. I have used it for small portions of canned food that I need saved in the freeze where I can pop 1 or as many as I need and not the whole tray. Great for broths, purree's and frozen pumpkin for my home made dog treats. .

These are high quality freezer trays. Made of solid, thick, smooth Silicone. I've used it to freeze pumpkin, spinach, kale, banana, ice. It has retained its shape and no staining! And comes with a lid! A small thing that makes a big difference in a loaded freezer. This is a great tool to make healthier baby foods. I know what goes into the puree. And not only for babies. Great for homemade smoothies too. We buy fruit, veggies on sale and freeze them using this tray. We blend them with soy milk for an easy breakfast smoothie. The makers of these trays didn't skimp on material or style. They will last many years.
