Not actually the greatest at toning my hair to the right colour. Will have to redo bleaching.

Look, if you follow the directions, toners work! They should only be used to correct bleached hair with a 10 volume developer, which only deposits toning with no lifting. You have to get to the right level of lightness with bleach for toners to work. With that in mind, you have to match the bleached level to the toner level. For example, if you bleach your hair to a level 9, then you need to use a level 9 toner to correct the brassiness of the bleach.

It doesn't mention you need to mix with bleach...useless

So I used t18 first and my hair was almost an icy lavender tone. The t18 did a very nice job of getting rid of brass and my roots were reduced from a copper tone to a light almost dirty blonde. The roots were nonetheless, still brassy and looking back, I should have just used t18 again. I had also purchased t10 to mix with the t18 but I did not have enough developer at the time. t10 made my hair almost silver, definitely an ash blonde throughout the lengths but my roots got much darker! Now I not only have coppery roots, again, but they are more like a level 6. I would recommend t18 but not t10, especially not for level 8 and up blondes. So disappointed with t10. Also, I have very long hair and one bottle was almost enough for me but I was mostly focusing on my root area.

My new #1 fave is Color Charm 911/9N Very Light Blonde. I now have the much-wanted Antique Gold blonde so in vogue. (And my hair's naturally blue-black.) Love the fragrance, too.
