WEN 6-Ton Electric Log Splitter

Very happy with performance of this Log Splitter.

Kept blowing a fuse from one outlet. Turned on with other outlet (all same amps), but wouldn't cut the wood that was smaller than what it said it could cut. Already took it back.

Make sure you get the right tool for the right job. My logs where too much for the machine. But it works great on 4-6" thick logs

I have been really pleased with the performance of the Winn 6 ton log splitter! I was wondering if it would do the job! So far so 'good!

The product arrived in the specified time and I was notified via a Wal Mart text. I should have picked up a 25' 12-gauge extension cord so don't forget that if you don't have one. Safety instructions stress 12-gauge not longer than 25'. The splitter works well but watch wood types that "pop" when split. I had some maple jumping two feet away from the splitter and took one in the shin before changing position. The only negative I encountered is that the Product Instruction Manual doesn't specify which side of the wheel flange the cotter pin should be installed. Once you install it incorrectly, good luck getting it out without having to install a new cotter pin.
