WEN 6.5-Ton Electric Log Splitter

Ease of operation, ease of assembly with stand. Does everything i need for splitting wood and has mechanical stop to prevent damage to splitter if piece of wood is not with in parameters for splitting. I recommend this splitter for home use with logs that are within its specifications. Great unit, I'd buy it again.

I had to send the first item due to damage caused by packing issues and no hydraulic fluid. How could it be tested before it left the factory?. The legs in the box are not secured and damage the unit during shipping. The second splitter had similar damage but not as bad. I emailed the company for replacement parts. The was able to use the unit and it does the job intended.

Just received the Wen 6.5 ton electric log splitter. We had it out of the box and operational within 1 hour(including reading through the manual). This thing is awesome. As my spouse ages and has developed a hip disability, it has become more difficult for him to split logs manually. He had split around 7-8 fifteen inch diameter logs in no time. I'm also one of those people who say they don't usually do reviews and I really don't. However, I'm making an exception in this case because you really can't believe how great this log splitter is.

Don't be fooled by the size of this splitter, It thinks It's a much larger one. With have had it for two weeks and split almost 3 cords. We have split up to 21 long. It will take a 20 inch round and split it in half, then you can split the half again. It goes though the log like butter. My husband and I both use it it's that simple to use. We are thinking of getting a second one, because it's getting into winter with some warmer temperatures, so we have to use two different oils one for below 40 and one for over. With a second splitter we won't have to change oils all the time. The price is great we got it on rollback so that was even better. If it had 10 star rating we would have given it that. We are very pleased with it.

Worked fine but arrived bent. They put wood on 3 sides of the splitter in packaging and the 1 side they dont was bent. Of course with the way these shipping companies are I should be glad thats the only damage and that it arrived at all!
