West Bend 77204 - Can opener - 70 W - red

I REALLY LIKE THIS NEW WESTBEND CAN OPENER. IT DOES A GREAT JOB! ONE THING THAT WORKS FOR ME WELL IS THAT IT IS NOT SO HEAVY SO I CAN MOVE IT OUT TO WHERE I CAN OPEN THE CANS BETTER. LOVE THAT RED COLOR!!! IT REMINDS ME OF ART DECO IN IT'S DESIGN. WAY TO GO WESTBEND AND WALMART.

When I recieved this can opener I pluged it in and it started running and would not shut off. I called West Bend customer service and explained the problem. They ask me to destroy the can opener I had and stated they would send me a new one. 3 days later my new can opener arrived. This new one looks and runs great, I like the fact that it is a little taller which makes it easy to open large cans. Love the red color.

We bought this item some ti,e ago and have used it for years. I am just now looking to buy a new one. It is nice that the head is removable for easy cleaning. The old one still runs but the head broke but only after 12 years.

I have had this can opener for about 4 years. It works great. I can walk away while it is opening the can. I bought it in Red and it looks so nice. I was looking to buy a new one and read the reviews on this one again and found out the top comes off to clean. I didn't read up on it when I bought it so I never knew that. Duh! A senior moment I guess. So I cleaned the cutting tool which removed very easily and went back on just as easy after cleaning it. All is good. No need to buy a new one!

Love it! The cutter blade component can be easily taken off to be washed. It is tall enough for the large cans, and it has a nicely balanced base, and the shape of the top and the level to control the cutter blades allows a good grip for your hand. Also the bright red sleek design makes it look nice on my counter! I ordered it for myself and was wishing I ordered it a week earlier when I was wrestling with my old manual can opener to do Christmas baking and food for the holidays!
