Westinghouse 3pc Stratford Solar Light Set, Remington Bronze Finish

These are not cheap, but they provide more light than most. The battery capacity is much higher than typical solar lights. They are of high quality construction, and should endure the weather for many years. They are a good alternative to strings of low-voltage electric lights.

We purchased 2 sets of 3 of these lights and we also bought at set of 2 spot lights from Westinghouse. All the lights work great the only issue we had is that 3 of the Stratford lights broke. The lights need to be assembled there are 3 components the globe/light, the stake and the spike that goes into the ground. The globe/light which has a plastic piece that is screwed onto the bottom of the light fits into the stake and it was the plastic piece that broke off inside of the stake. We were real disappointed when that happened because we really like the lights.

These solar lights are absolutely useless. We gave them every benefit of the doubt. Purchased in Spring 2011. Charged per recommendation. Started blinking within three evenings after burning for about two hours after dusk. Charged in a AC/DC charger. Lasted for three nights. Reverted to original blinking. Suspected lack of daytime lighting to charge properly. Patiently waited until Fall when all the leaves are gone. Same results as above. If this is the future of solar, buy oil. Wasted over $150 on these pathetic excuses for outdoor lighting.

They are doing a good job of lighting up my accent creek beds in my back yard. The best part is they can be moved quickly and relocated to change the back yards appearance.

These solar lights are brighter than others we have tried and are simple to install and maintain. They have withstood the monsoon rain an wind storms (south of Tucson, AZ) this summer and still look great. They have enough power to last clear through the night and not die at 11 PM. Great value and great product!
