Whirlpool - 11.6 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator as we have downsized our home and needed the space in the kitchen for other things as the refrigerator that was here was large and bulky. The refrigerator is a great size and perfect for 2 people. Working well and much quieter than the previous one. Ice maker is working well too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator cooling quit working after a few months. I was able to re-boot to get it working again, but I lost all the food inside. I also had a Whirlpool Dryer that quit working after a few years. I will never buy another Whirlpool product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the refrigerator for a short time; but, I am very pleased. I have a studio style apartment with limited space and the new refrigerator is a blessing to me. I can make fewer trips to the grocery store each month and the money I save will pay for the refrigerator in the long run. I am 80 years young and can't thank Whirlpool enough for making the wonderful appliance available.

Believe the reviews for the freezer frosting over and water dripping into the refrigerator area. The current refrig is a replacement for the exact same model because our "up north" condo didn't have a Whirlpool warranty service provider in the area. While Whirlpool did replace it, this one is having the exact same issue. Whirlpool did manage to find a warranty repair company over 95 miles away. Problem is they have been a no call no show twice. Don't return calls to reschedule. And are now saying they won't travel that far for just 1 service call. I have always considered myself a "Whirlpool ambassador" having purchased all levels of Whirlpool products. This is making me reconsider.

I'm having similar issues to other people, and they started after only a few months. The freezer keeps freezing over and making the refrigerator below not cold enough. I've wasted a lot more money than the refrigerator is worth due to all the ruined food. Called service repair and they haven't been able to fix it after 4 appointments.
