Whirlpool - 21.7 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Black

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this model because it was the only one that would fit in the pre built space that used to house my 36" side by side. I find the freezer shelve inconvenient as the grid runs front to back and the space is deep but narrow frozen food has to be stacked flat and piled in two stacks in front of each other, making it hard to get at food that has been placed in the back. It would be helpful to have a second basket that could pull out so all items could be viewed the door shelves are narrow and don't really hold much not sure how that could be fixed given the overall dimensions.. The fridge side is fine and the size of the on door shelves are great as are the crispers. I would have liked a deli drawer though. (Guess my previous 20 yr old fridge spoiled me) It keeps things nice and cold and the stainless steel exterior is relatively easy to keep looking fine.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this a month ago and it looks exactly like it is on the pictures. I am just disappointed that it doesn't have a spring that prevents the door from opening all the way and slamming on the counter or the door of the pantry.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this fridge for my garage to gain more fridge space. Also it's black which matches alls my tool cabinets and seems to be working fine. I'm hoping it gives me better performance than my whirlpool kitchen appliances. We have had to replace the kitchen stove for mother board problems and now we've had problems with the motherboard on the new one. Thank god for extended warranty. Hopefully the third appliance lasts longer than our kitchen ones as now the fridge is making noises.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We replaced a 30 year old fridge for the side by side, so it has taken some getting used to! The freezer is great, because I can easily see what I have. However, the configuration of the fridge shelves make it look roomy, but I find I run out of space. The door is also heavy and swings into my pantry door, so I need to hold it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this fridge so much! No more bending to sort through the freezer to find things. The freezer shelves are deep and have good capacity and I love the shelves on the door for smaller items that used to get lost in the bottom of the freezer. The fridge capacity is much bigger and with two lights ( one near the top and one 2/3 of the way to the bottom) it is very bright and easy to find things. I wish I had bought this style years ago.
