Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Single Electric Wall Oven - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the oven is turned on, a fan goes on, it's very loud! I have a hearing loss, but I can hear this. My old wall oven didn't make a sound. I called the store where I purchased the oven and asked about this, they said that's what its suppose to do. Not real happy with this issue.

I have had the oven for a week and have tried several features already. I love my oven. It works great and bakes very evenly. The noise from the fan is noticeable but it is not annoying. After the first couple of times, you don't notice it. I purchased the black one and the look is appealing. The only glitch was user error. When entering the bake time, I entered too many digits which meant I had entered 30 hours instead of 30 minutes. I caught it before any disaster occurred. I am pleased with my purchase. I have had the oven for a month. It replaced a 15 year old Kitchen Aide oven. New oven has a fan to circulate the heat. You can bake on both racks at the same time with superior results. Best oven I have ever had. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am a Whirlpool fan. When I moved in, 17 years ago, all appliances were new Whirlpool items. All but the washer and dryer endured for that time. I tend to buy things that are simplistic, less to break down. I chose the none cleaning oven because that went out years ago. I thought it was just my oven, but my sister, with a different brand ran into the same issue. This oven is simple , functional, and with any luck, will last me another 17 years. I purchased this appliance about a month ago and absolutely love it we previously had gas in our home and there was a leak somewhere and I didn't feel comfortable having it again so we switched to electric and this oven works great for baking cookies or bread as well as everyday meals for my family!! It is on the smaller side but I didn't have enough room to expand to a common 30in oven but this works perfect for all of my needs I can't wait to roast a turkey for thanksgiving!!
