Whirlpool - 25.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Satisfied with everything except for the surface of the doors. I recall it saying fingerless print but no such thing! I have to constantly wipe the surface with a stainless steel product. It's a pain to maintain. Why they didn't use the same surface material as the sides is a mystery. I wouldn't recommend unless you have time to waste to constantly maintain the doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 3 months ago, It has been making a terribly loud noise for the last 6 weeks. Sounds like a diesel locomotive is running. So tired of the new appliances looking good but working way worse than older models. I expect my 1 year old washing machine to tear itself apart within the next 6 months. Could not be more disappointed in Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 20+ year old Whirlpool which was quality excellent We have had this for three weeks-currently in que for a service call (we had elected to return it as unsatisfactory but wanted to let tech confirm our observations first) Very noisy- unacceptable, crisper drawer came warped,doors do not close properly, noisy gasket Unit will not keep refrigerator items cold enough even on highest settings (temps confirmed with multiple thermometers-coldest setting struggles at 40 degrees, suspect defective compressor, Purchased without ice maker and cold water dispenser for greatest room- configuration/interior space of this unit is excellent and no one else offers this configuration (generally others want all the "bling"..we want the space) Went to retailer .compared most major brands.. most are noisy too.. but not like this unit.. explanations.-high efficiency compressors. We want this unit replaced-retailer is excellent a cooperative. Whirpool-you can do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE size and setup with no ice maker but has some poor design and quality issues. 1. LOUD Fridge was around 46 decibels when new. Had evaporator fan (one in freezer) replaced under warranty. No change in loudness. Not sure exactly why (maybe another part ordered was not available), but the whole fridge was replaced under warranty a few months later. No change in loudness. I couldn't take the sound level, so I took the whirlpool 17 year old evaporator fan out of my old refrigerator and installed it in my new refrigerator. I also modified the fan mount a little to make things less rigid. Sound is now at an acceptable 38 decibels which is a huge difference. Evaporator fan and mount need improvements!!!!!! 2. KINKED REFRIGERANT LINE While I was messing with the evaporator fan, I noticed the refrigerant line coming into the freezer is kinked. This is straight up bad practices at the factory. See image for kink. 2. UNEVEN DOORS The door heights are uneven from the factory. The left door is not adjustable and is higher than it should be to start. The right door is adjustable but is adjusted to max height. Since right door is lower than left but at max adjustment height, doors are uneven. Refrigerator is on level floor. Look at any other review pics and the left door is 99% higher.
