Whirlpool - 27 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Platter Pocket - Black Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fridge…. But 60 days in and I'm already having the ice maker and water dispenser repaired. I know all brands have issues and Samsung and LG are junk to me, bought this hoping to have one that lasted like the old days…. Guess that doesn't happen anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a great fan of this refrigerator compared to the LG I gave up when I moved. Don't like that the ice/water dispenser needs to have pressure applied at the top rather than the bottom. Water tends to accumulate on top of the freezer drawer. Water dispensing looks like a large stream, but is actually very low pressure and splashy and takes a long time to fill a coffee carafe. Otherwise, relatively content with layout of shelves and freezer bin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is very much like the old one we had. Would have given it a 5, but do not like the pull out platter tray. I think you lose too much space going toward the back. Also your shelves do not go all the way towards the back, losing more space again. Went from a 29 cubic ft. to a 27. Think the design for the 29 cubic foot was better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the fridge for less than 3 months. The left door handle is already loose and so is the handle for the freezer. The compartments for vegetables and fruit are small because of another compartment in the middle. Would rather just have two bigger drawers. The freezer is not very deep and again has compartments which make it harder to freeze larger items. When you close the fridge it makes a sound like a phone dialing which is really annoying. Definitely would not buy this again but I will work with what I have until it breaks.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought it a month ago. It works very well. The temperature in the freezer room keeps -18C, and the temperature in cool room keeps at 4 C. The design for two rooms is very reasonable. Because my family do not like to use ice, so the ice - made function is not suitable for my family. The noise of running compressor is a little bit loud.
