Well, the new washer is cheap, the controls to start it require me to stand there with my finger on the button while the washer senses. Sorry, I would not recommend anyone buy this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These machines are horrible! I have bought Whirlpool for 30 years. I have tried contacting Whirlpool and all I can get is a chat. The directions are extremely limited. We needed some clarification and all the could do was chat. I needed to speak to someone. Very unprofessional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace a Whirlpool front load washer I had had for more than 10 years. I loved it and wanted to stay with a similar product. The one feature that sold me the most on this unit is the filter access door ON THE FRONT of the machine. I have two labradors, and it seems as though they shed all year round! On my old machine, I had to remove the back and perform some crazy twisted body maneuver to get to the filter. This will be so much better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When washer and pedestal were installed, they didn't fit together correctly. A call to the appropriate number brought an acceptable solution, however it took several more calls before a whole new set was delivered and installed - more than a month after I ordered it. Now, while the washer seems to work, it has a strange start procedure, with little instructions, and I'm still not certain I'm doing it right. During the cycle, the machine shakes a lot and makes a lot of noise, which is what my previous 16 year old Whirlpool front loader had begun to do, and was diagnosed with needing a new stabilizer or suspension. Wash loads seem to be clean, but I'm disappointed with the overall performance, and was hoping for better, which is why I bought this machine.
