Whirlpool - 7.4 Cu. Ft. Stackable Gas Dryer with Steam and Wrinkle Shield Plus Option - White

Purchased the dryer July of 2021. It has been serviced several times and still doesn't work properly. Clothes do not dry all the way, the machine will shut off while the clothes are still wet, sometimes it turns off then back on for a minute and back off. I don't get it?? I have to continually turn it back on, the only setting that sometimes works is the timed setting. I have tried all settings, all heat temps. Not happy with this machine at all. Wish I could return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 25 years of great service from my last Whirlpool Dryer, of course I was purchasing another Whirlpool Gas Dryer! I made my purchase about a month ago. I couldn't wait for them to get it hooked up and try it! I am still in love with Whirlpool! I love all the new features my dryer offers! The steam feature is so good, I sometimes use the timed drying as well. I feel like a kid with a new toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what I expected with a front loading washer and dryer but I guess I expected more and I expected them to be superior to my top loading style machines that I have had my entire life! They certainly are more expensive than the old style washer and dryers are! One thing I am not happy with is the lack of good informative manuals - the stuff that comes with the machines is just total garbage! They tell you nothing! I am still (after a month of owning the dryer and matching washer) struggling with getting to know the way to operate both machines. I am unhappy with the dryer because the presets take you one way and then at the end of the cycle, my clothes are still wet or damp! So frustrating! Oh, and one very very maddening feature that this machine doesn't have is an end of cycle sound that can be heard from any place in the house. It is so "polite" that I almost never hear it! I want a sound that lets me know my dryer that will "wake the dead" to let me know that it is stopping so that my clothes don't sit in the dryer getting wrinkled!

There isn't a light in the dryer. This feature if one that I assumed would be there when I purchased the dryer. We previously had a Duet dryer and loved it. It had a light. This dryer came with a steam option which I would be more than happy to exchange for a light on the interior.

This piece of garbage has never worked for us. The day it was delivered it started showing the error sign and then will completely die. We have had 4 service techs come out the the house over the past 2 MONTHS and it STILL is not fixed or working. Each time they claim it is now fixed and it dies after the first load. Also the hours of operation on the website are not accurate. According to the website I should be able to contact someone on Saturdays from 8-4:30. This is a lie. I am beyond frustrated. This product is garbage and the customer service is worthless. We have learned from Diamond Factory service that Whirlpool only sends a brief message that "This house with product --- needs service". So Diamond factory service techs are showing up blind not knowing what the problem is and then have to return later because they don't have the correct parts. I would recommend buying from a entirely different company and avoid Whirlpool all together.
