I love this product. I bought 4 of these to accommodate my 100+ shoe obsession. It's perfect for my 4-6inch heels, flats and my wedges... My plan is to attach two sets each (love the fact that I can do that) and screw them to the wall (ceiling to floor effect) Now all I need is a product for my boots.
Two years ago, I bought three sets of these shoe racks, each set has two racks, so that's six racks. Each rack has a left and right plastic bracket to hold the six rods that form the three shelves for shoes for each rack. I have them mounted on the closet wall. Four of the six right side brackets have broken at the place where they are screwed into the wall, yet none of the left brackets have broken. Very puzzling. Must be a design/manufacturing defect. This particular purchase was to replace two of the four broken left side brackets, so I'll store it for more spare parts in case any of the right side brackets break. Now I'm going to order another set of racks to replace the other two brackets that are broken and hope for the best. They are cheap enough. If it weren't perfect for the space in my closet, I'd start over with another product, but since it is already set up, I'll just replace the brackets. If they break again, I'll try something else.
Very disappointed in this rack, it will only hold a certain type of shoe and not 24 pair, but 12 pair
Value for money as it meets purpose. The quality of material is not good as it is plastic. assembling this product is real easy.
If you choose not to drill holes into your door to secure this rack to the door, your shoes will shift as you open and close the door, or even if you don't ever open and close the door (just lifting shoes off of the rack and putting them back on will cause this rack to shift ever so slightly). Eventually the rack will get pushed away from the door (because unless you're Cinderella, your shoes will be longer than the rack is deep and they will push the rack away from the door), and your shoes will fall to the ground one by one in the gap between the door and the rack. This will cause massive shifting in the rack, which will cause ALL of your shoes to fall to the ground, at which point much of this lovely plastic unit will come apart, too, and come crashing to the ground. Then you will have a mountain of shoes to clean up and you'll get to put the rack back together again. Biggest waste of money ever. Seriously. Don't buy this unless you want to drill holes into your door (which, imo, you really shouldn't ever do).
