Whitmor 3 Tier Wood and Chrome Expandable Shoe Rack

I ordered this for myself, then found one twice as large at a good price, so I gave it to my husband. It definitely organized his closet. He likes the rack, its low profile so it doesn't interfere with clothes above. It also matches the flooring. Strong, sturdy, no problems at all. Glad I bought it.

(I bought 2) - The product is great with the ability to make it as long or a short, so it fits great in my closet next to a chest of drawers. I do see the problem with some of my shoes not fitting as well, as i am a size 6.5. But if you maneuver them, they fit fine. Any smaller, though, and I can see a real problem. Otherwise, they are great and very useful. Not as sturdy as more expensive ones, but as I always say, you get what you pay for...which is just what I needed!

I love this rack. It is a nice product for the price. The only negative thing I can say is if your feet are very small, it may not work for you. I wear about an 8.5 and my shoes almost don't fit between the bars. If they were any smaller, they would fall though. I love the way you can adjust the size to make it pretty long/large or smaller for a tighter area. I looked at something similar (if not the same) at Bed, Bath and Beyond and even with the 20% off discount, it was less expensive at Wal-Mart.

I purchased this product because my girlfriend has far too many shoes and we had some closet space not being utilized. This expandable shoe rack fits perfectly and uses all the available space. Assembly was easy as pie. Great bang for your buck. My only warnings to potential buyers: Depending on your shoe size and the type of shoe you wear, not all types of shoes will work on this rack. I wear 10 (mens) and my girlfriend wears 9.5 (womens) All my shoes fit no problem, however, some of her shoes do not fit, id say about one in ten do not fit. Were talking about 3 inch heels and such. Also, Concerns about stability: I have no stability issues with my rack, I made sure I tightended the rods firmly by hand. My rack is also in a closet and has wall's on three sides, so its near impossible for it to fall over. If you are planning on using this free standing, then there might be some stability issues that I am not aware of.

The product was a cinch to put together. It also has the nice feature of expanding to fit more shoes. It also fits great in my front closet. I wear a size nine shoe, so it fits my shoes just fine. I would recommend this rack to anyone that needs to make their shoe closet look more tidy and organized.
