Whitmor Pink Wire Storage Cubes, Set of 4

These look like a good storage solution for a childs room but are very hard to get together. The instructions say that it only takes 30 mins to put the 4 cubes together but I can not get the plastic holders to stay on the wire cubes. I even tried using a hammer. So the no tools required is not true! I have tried twice for about an hour each time and am at the point where I am probably going to just have my husband weld them together. I recommend not wasting your money on these.

Used this kit for a C&C guinea pig cage. All the metal pieces were the perfect size for the cage. (Bought a set at a different store and only 9 of the pieces had the correct sized opening!) I did not use the white clips included with the set (they were VERY difficult to "snap on" by hand....needed a mallet to make it work with the clips).

Once you get used to getting the pieces together and snapping them firmly into place, it's a great product. I love that you can shape them anyway you want:make bins, shelves, use as extra closet space, etc. ..its great, inexpensive, and look decent enough. overall very happy.

This is a sturdy and very nice item. The only complaint I have is that if you buy more than 1, there is no guarantee that they will be identical. I purchased 2 and they are slightly different in color and in size. I wasnt even able to combine them to make one whole unit. They dont fit into eachother and the coloring is off. I am a bit disappointed.

These work well as storage for children's toys. They have ample space for large toy items. I've had a black set of these storage cubes for 4 years and they've held up well. I used the collapsible storage bins with them and it works great. Now that my b/g twins are getting their own rooms, I'm giving the black set to my son and purchased the pink set for my daughter. I also bought the set of pink collapsible storage bins, which work nicely with these cubes. I was very disappointed to receive the item and the wire cubes are a definitely "mauve", not at all a "pink" in my viewpoint. I feel the photo does not adequately show the true color. Because the colors will clash, I'm returning the pink wire cubes and ordering white ones to go with the pretty pink storage bins.
