Digitally remastered and expanded deluxe two CD edition of this 1981 album including six bonus tracks. Why Do Fools Fall In Love is the first album Diana Ross recorded after leaving the Motown Label. The album reached #15 in the USA (#4 R&B), #17 in the UK and the Top Ten in Sweden, Norway and The Netherlands. It was her second platinum album of the 1980s and eventually did better than any other full album she issued in the decade, except for Diana. The album includes the Top 10 hits quot;Why Do Fools Fall In Lovequot; and quot;Mirror Mirrorquot;. Also included on the album was the track quot;Work That Bodyquot;, which was co-written by Ross with Paul Jabara and Ray Chew. A solo version of quot;Endless Lovequot; is also included on the album; a re-recording of her number one duet with Lionel Richie and quot;It's Never Too Latequot; was also released as a single in some international territories. Why Do Fools Fall In Love was a slick and unpretentious album, which became the start of a great springboard for Ross’ in her RCA years.
