Can I give a negative rating? I paid for AC installation with purchase. 2 months later and no installation. When I called Angi I was told that they had no information re my order. I've called Walmart 3 times to no avail. Still looking for a refund but no satisfaction even though I was told that they created a ticket for a refund. Terrible communication.
I scheduled a door lock installation through Angi and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The first technician came to my house, installed the lock, and left without even checking if it worked. He simply told me to charge the battery and insert it later. After doing exactly that, the lock still didn't function at all. I contacted Angi again and they scheduled another appointment with a different technician. This second technician arrived and immediately asked for the user manual. He spent time reading it and seemed unfamiliar with the device, even suggesting that I watch a YouTube video to figure it out myself. After spending nearly an hour, he concluded there was something wrong with the device and wasn't able to resolve the issue. I then asked him to remove the new lock and reinstall my old one, which also took him quite a while. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the service. I paid $88 for an installation that was never properly completed. Now I'm left with a lock that doesn't work and have to figure out how to get a refund.
Trying to get a hold of a person is awful! Walmart customer service for pickup orders were able to give me an email address and number to call. The number is strictly automated. Email I finally heard back only to be told I could cancel my installation but Angi would keep my installation fee. I couldn't believe it! Walmart was kind enough to return my 80 yo mother's money. but I will NEVER use Angi for anything ever!
the a/c is working properly and i have no issues with it's performance. I am not happy with the installation because it's not level side to side. It's tipped correctly from front to back but should be level side to side as per the owner/installers manual.
According to an email from Angi, thread::5IX0hoXFNsmW59WFb4bg8TI::, I was to get a free second installation of a GE Air conditioner, since the original GE from Walmart was damaged in shipping when the installer opened the carton. However, my account has been charged for the second installation. The refund should be honored.
