I love the weight and the look of it. This blood pressure cuff is very inaccurate in its reading and after charging it for hours, doesn't last long not even 8 hours .
I successfully paired this product with the app on my phone but was never able to get it to work. The cuff would not inflate. I'm waiting for a replacement.
I really like the ides of a rechargable wireless blood pressure wrist monitor. It is comfortable and fairly easy to use but my main concern is that I have doubts about the accuracy of the test results. When I first used it is was giving me readings much higher than what my doctor has been telling me for years. My first result was 152/119 and I have been in the 120/80 range (give or take a couple) for many years. 152/119!?!?! I should have immediately called an ambulance. I took it again and it was 155/116. A third try and it was 144/103. I did the same thing on all three tries. I laid my arm flat on a table and breathed slowly and did not talk or move. I then tried it again a few days later and this time there was a 3 screen instructional "video" on how to position your wrist and how high to elevate it. Things I did not do before (Elevate you arm to heart level, etc) and this time my 3 results were 138/94, 137/88 and 139/88. I made sure to follow the instructions to the letter each time and the results do seem a little more realistic but still seems high to me. I actually have an appointment for my annual physical in a few days and I am going to take it with me to compare it's results to what they provide. My guess is it is a little high. I am just not sure about a medical device that requires you to be in an exact position or your reading could be way off. Maybe they can fine tune it in future updates. I hope so because if I felt confident in the results every time, this would be a great device. I would have rated this 3.5 stars if that had been an option.
I used this on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6 devices ( which are on the supported list). They are both Android. so if you have an iphone your mileage may vary. Its compact, easy to carry and well designed size wise. The idea of having to carry this anywhere is really nice and be able to track this on your smartphone (and it automatically updated my S-Health app which was nice). But that's where the positives stop. The bad part is the numbers vary a lot and i have not idea which is correct. I have tried to carefully follow the instructions but they all don't seem to matter. Can the manufacturer show a video of this working reliably? I would want to see a setup video on their website for all the products. How do you use it correctly? I couldn't get it to connect to my Bluetooth reliably. If the device connects to two phones, the first phone cannot connect even if the second phone is out of the house. Not sure what the problem is. It is really annoying. Bottom line: Dont buy this. Its inaccurate, and bluetooth is unreliable.
This is an iHealth Wireless Blood Pressure Wrist Monitor It is made for iPod, iPhone, iPad The free app includes personalized health tools It supports multiple users It works offline, the data automatically uploads at your next connection Includes a free iHealth Cloud service account I realy like the fact it goes on your wrist. I need to keep trac of my blood pressure, but the arm ones don't work for me because of muscle damage due to meds. So its nice I can keep trac on my wrist And once to start it, it shows you the right position to place it before it will start I do wish it would also show you your stats on it too but it doesn't. It only shows on your iPad For people not to tec savy it is not the easiest to set up I needed my Grandson to come and set it up for me since I have never used Bluetooth and that is how it gets uploaded Once he show'd me how to do it, it was easy to do This way it is easy to keep trac of your blood pressure and heart rate on your pad And it is also possible to send it to your doctor It comes in a nice case to keep it safe and clean when taking it with you You also get a charging cable, because you do have to keep it charged If you go on Walmart.com and look this monitor up, you will find a very nice video on how to use it You can get it at Walmart for $59.63, which is a very good price
