Wolverine McKay Waterproof Steel-Toe 6” Work Boot Men

Been wearing these boots for 2 weeks and they are comfortable and durable. I work in a steel mill so I am on my feet more than 12 hours a day. My feet and back don't hurt as much since I strapped these bad boys on.

I felt like the boots were a bit narrow, but when I tried them with thick winter socks, I felt like the boots were too narrow. The only other width seemed two sizes wider, so I just returned them for a refund. Besides the width, I liked them and would have kept them for work.

Mckay 6 inch- Industrial maintenance tech... Wore for first time tonite and I'm very pleased. I usually have heel pain in left foot at end of my shifts but I didn't this morning which was a relief, literally! Good traction from the slick environment I was in briefly, oil and sludge. I ended up going to the pressure wash bay to clean some large industrial fan shrouds that were filthy and took longer than usual and even though my boots got REALLY wet my feet didn't at all which wasn't the case in my last boots, the boots were also almost completely dry about 5-10 minutes later and I was kind of shocked about it. The fit was amazing, like they were made custom to my foot almost, my old boots (wolverine I-90s) weren't like that and kind of narrow in toe section and foot was kind of sloppy in the rest of the boot. the McKay had good toe room and toe feels actually fully protected now, especially because of the metguard. Leather is a little soft but doesn't seem to affect strength. Laces seem strong and not really thin like some other brands. I'd like to see these boots in black though with gray eyelets since my work environment is so dirty and leather is somewhat light color wise and get dirty quickly but oh well. All around great boot so far and hope they hold up to the beating they will be enduring

I have been wearing wolverine boots since 1994 and am pleased with this style. So, for your engineers that do not wear your products. Don't change that what is not broke.

These are great boots. They are comfortable right out of the box. They are also very durable. I work in a harsh environment and these boots excel in all of it.
