Not sure what the deal is but my feet keep getting wet when i wear these boots. Pretty uncomfortable working all day out in the field with wet feet. I thought these boots were supposed to be water proof. They are nice boots and comfortable but i need them to be waterproof too. Thats what i paid for.
The most comfortable best fitting boot I’ve ever worn. They feel like a pair of perfectly broke in pair of boots right out of the box. Last me 2 to 3 years of daily use. If your thinking about them and haven’t worn them before go for it you won’t regret it. And they will keep your feet dry in wet conditions.
I bought a pair of these back in November of 2021. They were a great all around ranch boot for the work I had to do. It also was pretty well insulated for working in the snow. Unfortunately, after a few months, one of the pull straps broke. That was fine, I dealt with it. But the final straw was what happened after leaving them outside in the sun once spring time came around. I noticed the toe box of my left boot got really tight. At first I didn't know what the reason was. Maybe my foot was feeling swollen that day? After inspecting the boots, I noticed the toe cap reinforcement (probably a 1.2MM thermo-sheet material to give its shape) melted and shrunk and created wrinkles instead under the suns heat. Now I can barely wear the boots without my toes cramping. I hope the Design and development team will consider updating the toecap reinforcement material to something a little thicker or more heat-resistant, to avoid this for other customers. I'm happy to send the boots back to you for inspecting. The reason I went into such detail is because I used to be a footwear developer for Adidas TERREX. So it's second nature for me to critique shoes so vigorously. :-)
First off let me say this, these are probably the most comfortable boots ive ever worn. Had them about 2 weeks now. They do run a little large so order a half size smaller than your shoe size so you dont have to exchange like i did. Theyre great looking boots! They are kind of hard to take on and off though. As to their durability i cant say yet. Most of my Wolverines have been pretty durable considering theyre made in china. If they'll last me a year ill be happy. So far they seem waterproof which is important in a chicken plant.
I do industrial construction (multi craft)and these boots usually last me about a year the inner sole and heel will wear out and start to deteriorating around a year but you cannot beat the comfort of the boot your feet will not hurt . I just wished they made them in a composite so i could walk through metal detectors at nuclear power plants without setting it off
