Wolverine Luton Waterproof Hiker Men

This boot is NOT waterproof. After only two wears, the boots leak. The first time, they were fine. The second time, they started to leak. If you truly want a waterproof boot, this is not it. I was hoping they would live up to their advertising. Boots like this claim to be waterproof, but usually, after the first or second wearing, they start leaking. I have found this to be the case with other brands that don't use Gore-Tex liners. The liners they use give out very quickly, and you are left with just a boot that you can only use in dry conditions. Bummer.

Love these boots. Feel great and working great. Taken these on several walks during snow and they kept me warm and comfortable.

Well built with sturdy construction. The only negative I can give it is the lack of arch support. Normally, I would expect much in a work boot but these are especially flat on the inside. An arch insert is needed with these which should be added as an option on the boot's order page.

I purchased these Wolverine Luton Waterproof Hikers mainly because the price was so good during the Holidays. I have not tried them in a wet environment, but I'm sure they will do the job for the most part. I would have provided a rating of 3.5 stars, but that is not an option. I only have a couple of criticisms. One, is a styling cue. I just wish the toe box/front of the boot area was more rounded and less pointy. That's really a personal preference. Two, the boot could use a little more padded foot bed. I can probably take care of this by purchasing a more cushioned insert. Other than that, the fit is good for my foot and overall, they are fairly comfortable.

got this on sale and probably one of the best value-for-money purchases i've ever made. not an avid hiker, but this is perfect for the occasional casual hike.
