Wolverine Piper Waterproof Composite-Toe 6" Work Boot Women

I wanted to love these boots. They are made well, but are just terribly uncomfortable. The edge of the composite rubs against the tops of my toes causing blisters. The tops of the boot rub against my legs and causes soreness and chaffing. Otherwise they seem durable and long lasting. Wolverine has a good reputation at my company, that's why I gave them a try.

Bought these shoes for construction. Not only was my feet miserable all week but I stepped on a nail & it actually penetrated the boot easily!!! If you are in a trade, these are hiking boots not for us to actually work all day in. I am making them hiking boots because that’s all they will be good for.

First let me say this, I work in Security and I walked at least 3 miles a day (some days more). My first pair, I went into the store looking for a pair of composite toe work boots. When I tried them on I felt like Cinderella. I wore them out, about 18 months (5 days a week). Threw them out, didn't remember the brand. Saw them on someone else, ordered 2 pair. And I have bad feet. LOL

I ordered these boots, but when I received them they looked like they were already worn with dirt on the bottoms. When I went to return them I had to pay to return ship them. It said only $5, but I was shortchanged $10 on the return. Won't be doing business with Wolverine again.

I tried these shoes out the first day I got them and was disappointed that they weren't waterproof. The shoes even say waterproof on them. Other than that they are very comfy shoes and I really do like them, but am going to return them. I'm a dog groomer and I got the shoes for the purpose of them being waterproof.
