Women's Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Madison Sneakers Color: Blue Size: 11

Bought these to replace my decade-old chucks and get new lifting shoes. They're everything I needed them to be! The color is fantastic, the fit is amazing (bonus, I can pretend my feet are still "small" because they're a 7.5 while all other athletic shoes are 8.5) Easily the most comfortable shoes I've used lifting, yet- and they give me mobility for cardio while providing grip on the weight machines where needed.

Classic all stars are excellent. Worn dozens for 49 years. Bought 2 new pair yesterday and they have been updated, and not in a good way. The interior is no longer cotton, but some poly mesh, and the insole if a thin removable wafer that does not give any support. The laces are shorter and the sergerd edges are done in a poly thread instead of cotton. These do not breathe. The weight and feel is gone. The classic All-Stars, Chuck Taylors, and others are not what they have always been. The quality has been sacrificed for cost savings in production. 40 years and likely over 100 pairs, I have worn and worn out. And I returned them today. Do not buy them.

Love my classic white chucks apart from wearing them for the first time on vacation to the Bahamas! On the plane over and whilst wearing them there the glue sat the shell toe on both shoes has leaked onto the canvas! I now have an orange stain on both shoes, not very happy about this at all. Probably not much Converse will do about it! So if you live in or visit a humid environment be aware that this will happen.

I ordered my normal size. At first it felt fine, with a little extra toe room that I like to have. Then after a couple hours of standing, they started hurting my feet because they are too narrow. The return process was easy and I did get my refund. I will try ordering again in a size wide.

I love the color of my Chick Taylor low cut all stars. The light natural shade is softer than a bright white would be. After reading other reviews, I bought a half size smaller than I normally would, going with a 7-1/2 rather than an 8. I glad I did. These are perfect.
