Women's Squall Lightweight Raincoat

The color of this jacket was slightly more yellow than expected, and although the style seemed nice on the model, it did nothing for me. I also found the zipper difficult as others noted, so I returned it. I only keep items I truly love. The bar is high, and unfortunately Lands End is not reaching it these days.

I loved this jacket when I opened the package. If fit so well, nice pockets, hood, etc. But then the zipper. I couldn't get it to work when I was wearing it. And I tried several times. If you lay it on a flat surface, it works fine, but that isn't very useful. Sigh. I had to return it.

I decided to take a chance on this rain coat even though some reviews stated the zipper did not work. Well, they were right, and I had to return this. I am so disappointed because I really need a rain jacket and loved all of the other details of this one - the material, longer length jacket, color, weight. Also, the coat I bought for my elderly mom a few years ago has zipper problems. LE, you need to purchase better quality zippers as this has been a problem for YEARS!

I ordered this coat about a month ago and have worn it about half a dozen times. It does seem to run a little small, but I havre a small frame so it is okay for unless I am wearing a heavy sweater. The zipper is turning out to be a difficult thing to deal with. I cannot get it to fit in the bottom piece readily. If I get it started it goes up the coat just fine.

This coat is great for walking the dogs on rainy days and does a great job of stopping that feeling of the wind going right through you. I love the option of this jacket on those days when a heavy jacket is not needed - it will find use well into spring here in Texas. Size was about right - 5'5” and 138 pounds and the medium works, but get a size up if you want lots of extra room for layers.
