Wow Protein Donuts, 11 Grams of Protein, Cake Batter Protein Donuts, 4 Ct

All in all I really like this donut. I think most people that write a bad review because of the taste of the texture are not really realizing what they bought. It's protien period. It is,tasty the texture isnt horrible but its not Krispy Creme come on. If you are looking for an alternative and are trying to lose weight and get some extra protein in, try them. If you want a donut and want the real thing eat the real thing, if you can stop at one and stay on track go for it. Definitely mind over matter with any diet. I'll buy this flavor again (Birthday Cake)

I haven't had much luck finding high protein snacks that are even remotely edible, but these are the worst of the worst. It's a large size, so it might be filling if u can get them down. But, they are plain, heavy and the taste is horrible. The 2nd one I tried to get down the next day, and it was worse. When I opened it, it smelled like tuna fish. Awful

I was initially very pleasantly surprised! The texture is FANTASTIC! Not flaky like a Krispy Kreme or anything, much more dense but in a good way! Very cake-y with an enjoyable mouth-feel. The taste? Meh… Not cake batter at all. Very bland. It's not bad (like one of the old style protein treats that tastes like cardboard!) by any means. It just.. tastes like.. not much haha.

These helped me get in protein without the extra calories while tasting way better than a pack of tuna (which to me literally causes a gag reaction when I try to eat it). But taste wise, compared to protein bars, it was of course, not up there. I did like that it was very chewy to the point of needing near a glass of something to drink..really sinks in that you are eating and satiated and doesn't dissapear in a quick pop...so good to savor. A little strange flavor but you adjust your expectations. I would not buy again however due to the price, seems much and I guess you are paying more for the packagingwhich is substantial, unnecessarily so.

This is my third box of protein donuts, I believe I've tried all of the flavors. This one is my second favorite, after chocolate (see above). If you've never had any protein donuts before (and you're a fan of sweet protein-filled concoctions like I am) then I'd highly recommend checking these out. The texture is very donut-like, almost like a sponge cake (if you've had smartcakes, this is a denser version of that). The taste is cake like as well - I want to make cake pops with these. This donut, more than the other two, is crying out for some frosting or icing - if you want to go full protein, maybe mix together some protein powder and milk?
