Formerly these were made of a high quality canvas, the three pairs I just ordered look more like a light burlap instead of the formerly tightly woven canvas. After the first wash there appear to be holes near the stitched seams where the weave is pulling out. I would still recommend the pants based on price, but be aware these are no longer the high quality pants of the past, they are more suitable for actual painting than everyday wear.

I work in the great outdoors maintaining 1065 acres of airfield. These pants really break the cold while being light and comfortable . The pockets are easy accessible. A place to carry all my odds and ends. Excellent purchase. Wanger delivered these quality pants to my door in 2 days. Just all around great experience. I buy all my pants at Wangler.com now.
