fraud cameras!! went through the hookup process. they wanted my credit card %23 and said i wouldn't be charged.as soon as i gave it. they yried to empty my card. i purchased three. they are going back. lost my money on the sd cards too! cant take those back. very upset!
I am very pleased with the ease of setup and installation. Connectivity is good, but I am concerned that when there is power outage as I experienced today; no footage between the time I left for work and returned home. There was a period of four hours no detection.
I bought 2 of the V3's on pre-order and have had issues with both of them. When you try to view the live stream, the image and clock are stuck at an earlier time. The Kb/s are changing like it is streaming, but the video never changes. If you View Playback, the timeline moves like it should, but the video never changes. Reboots and power cycles don't have any affect. I applied the new updates today and the app (ios) is up to date. I still have the same problem. My other 8 Wyze cams (V2 and outdoor) work just fine.
My recently purchased camera, while waiting to be installed on the front porch, found it's true purpose in life when our Christmas suddenly included a pair of 6 week old puppies. It has been the best use of the camera! We are able to watch them settle back down at night without making them think we are giving into their whimpers. While out at the movies, we were able to see that they were sleeping soundly and never knew we were not home. We could, if needed, talk to them to reassure them and that is awesome! Now, we have to purchase more cameras since we have to replace the one for the porch and I'm sure a camera in the back yard will be needed now too. It'll be puppy cam 2. Lol. Now, I have a slight complaint, but really it's a thing that happens to me regularly. I purchased the Cam Plus yearly for the camera and I found a glitch. They can't figure out where the membership went. It's not in my account, but it's been paid for. They keep stalling me, first it was until Monday. Now it will show up in a week. Yeah, I find the exceptions often, so it doesn't effect my rating. We have all loved the camera, thanks.
One of the two Cam V3 cameras will not enter set- up mode. The one that I was able to set up will not record movement events or notify of events. In fact, since updating NONE of my Waze cams, including 3 Pan Cams will notify of or record events, even though I have set them to do so. I have set logs and emails to Wyze with no response from them.
