Yard Machines 21" 123cc Single-Stage Snow Blower

I was concerned about buying this because of all the negative comments but decided to take a chance... All I can say is... AWESOME! All you nay-sayers were wrong! ...got this little work horse home...read the directions...added the oil...set the choke at 1/2 and it took about 20 pulls to start ,but if you consider that you NEED TO CIRCULATE THE OIL BEFORE IT WILL START..thats not too much. she walked through 12-18" which was the shallowest depth and kept on trucking through the 3ft piles. I had to shut it off to talk to my neighbor and was concerned about restarting it (because of all the negative reviews) BUT...only one...ONE pull and she started purring like a kitten! I did keep the choke set at 1/2...that seemed to be the sweet spot. Well worth the $350! cut my time with the shovel by 3/4!

I owned a MTD Yard Machine 21 inch 123cc snow blower until the engine seized up. When I needed to replace it in a hurry, Walmart could deliver it in 3 days. So I took the plunge. When it arrived, a handle support was bent. The machine itself was built with a lot of plastic. Very cheap! It started hard and ran with a loud whine for awhile. Disappointing!

My snow trower came with the chutes handle warped, which made imposible to keep it in place so, I decided to screw it and hope for the best. Its easy to start and comes with two plastic keys to turn it off. It does not have electri starter, but it needs the key inserted, or it wont start. Gas tank is very small. Maybe half a gallon, but is better to add fresh gas often than keeping old one in. I was never so anxious to have a snow storm! But this time I want to try my new toy.

An awesome machine. It does start much better if you start it with the choke on 3/4 open and not fully closed.

Not a heavy duty machine for sure but can keep up with several inches at a third of the time. Glad we bought it. Tired of shoveling.
