YARDLEY LONDON OATMEAL SOAP, 4.25 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE these soaps. The smell is mild and not overwhelming, I find it relaxing. It lathers a decent amount, this product also helps to gently buff away dead skin. The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing. I would buy soap from this brand over and over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yardley soap has been around for so long but it's the first time I'm trying it. Soap bar feels very dense and I love the light calming scent. Smells like vanilla but not overpowering. It comes in a curved shape fits in hands easily without slipping away. It lathers beautifully with creamy fine bubbles. There are small speckles of oatmeal embedded in the soap bar, they exfoliate away the dead cells while lathering. It doesn't scratch the skin. After rinsing with water, my skin becomes squeaky clean, the squeak you will expect from a bar of soap. It did make me wonder how it can keep my skin nourished as advertised. After drying, my skin surprisingly did not feel tight and actually stayed moist. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I love the feeling. This soap is very effective and budget friendly. I will definitely try more yardley soaps in the future.

The scent is a bit strong, and normally I enjoy the aroma of almond but this soap leans heavier on the oatmeal scent and it smells a bit more musky which is not for me. I am not pleased with some of the ingredients, for example there is yellow 5 likely for the color but why is that necessary? The packaging is standard, cardboard box with a pleasant print. Overall, it's ok, but not my preference.

I received the product for free from Yardley London and Influenster and was really surprised because the quality exceeded my expectations. With the main ingredients being natural oats and almond essential oil, this soap bar gives a very gentle feeling every time I use it. Smooth and easy to foam, not too slippery like some other skin care soaps. When applied, it is not sticky or greasy, or dry but gives a gentle fragrant feeling. Affordable price for good quality, natural ingredients are worth a try.
