ZAGG - Rugged Book Wireless Keyboard & Detachable Case for Apple iPad Air 10.9" (2020, 2022) and iPad Pro 11" (2018-2021) - Black

This one replaces an older one. I swear by ZAGG Rugged Books and I replaced it even though I no longer work out in the field. I like the ease of use and the protection!

This thing is awesome. Feels like a laptop, very durable, but quite easy to remove and use like an iPad. The other magnetic ones on the market either didn't protect the iPad enough or weren't stable enough as they needed to be on a flat level surface, which I rarely have during my work in patient care. I tried a few brands and the zagg keyboard is also really nice to touch and use.

It is very difficult to Adjust the angle of the screen. It is very easy to detach. In fact it detaches when you try to adjust it, even though you don't want it to. It's made of hard plastic that may very well protect it but still feels very cheap. I would love to return it, but my guess is with the cost of postage, I won't get much of a refund.

Recently had to replace my ZAGG Slim Book Go. As with anything there are always pros and cons with change. The big pro with the Rugged Book Apple iPad 10.2” is it takes up less space without the extra piece out the back for the stand. The con for me is that it's quite heavy compared to the other one I had. I didn't really need something this rugged. Would have been nice to have another option to choose from. Having said that, if I ever drop it, I won't have to worry! Overall it is a very good product…just a little heavy for my liking.

This keyboard/case fits all of my needs. The keys are backlit, which helps in a lighting situation I have. There are 2 bluetooth channels which allow me to switch to the second channel and type directly into my phone, a feature I've used several times. The half of the case that fits over the ipad detaches easily from the keyboard, and can be flipped for viewing videos or playing games that only require ouch interaction. I am a musician who uses a tablet music stand and the iPad fits on the stand without removing it from the case, which is ideal for me. I also like the apple pen holder, which keeps the pen handy just above the typing keys. I am very pleased with this case.
