ZEN MP3 Player Skin

I bought this for my son along with the zen. He loves it. It keeps the cord right with the player and at just the right length as well as tangle-free. Excellent companion gift.

I like this skin for my children. The only thing that I do not like is that it does not have a belt clip or a belt loop.

Seems to be shock absorptive but doesn't protect the display. If you really need the the wire organizer, it is helpful. Seems over priced especially with no display protection.

The silicone skin with wire management works well to protect the Zen with a couple of exceptions. Being a Zen branded product, it fits the Zen very well. The skin has a nice tactile feel to it and doesn't interfere with the operation of the buttons on the front of the player. Access to the headphone and USB ports are not obstructed but access to the memory card slot is slightly more difficult with the skin installed. The biggest drawback is that the skin offers no protection for the player screen. I purchased a separate clear plastic "stick on" type protector for the screen itself and that works fine with the skin. The upside of the skin not having a clear protector over the screen is that it could become scratched or yellowed over time and need to be replaced. The stick on screen protector is easily (and cheaply) replaced. Also, the open end of the skin offers no protection to the USB and headphone ports from dust and dirt. I was surprised that the buttons on the front of the player operate with no problems whatsoever with the skin installed. Overall a good product but seems a little too expensive to not offer screen protection and more adequate dust resistance. The wire management feature works fine.

It helps keep a grip on the AWESOME ZEN. I may have been a bit rough on it and it came apart (the cable management layer). So, handle carefully when cables are wrapped.
