Not great on carpet but will work somewhat on short carpet (stutter runs). Animals love to chase it around. Grandkids get a kick out of it. Heed the warning about keeping it away from hair as we found out the hard way!

I bought this for my niece for christmas she is 8 years old it was well worth the money i bought her brother one also because the zhu zhu pets interact together

Wasn't what I thought it would be.

We won this at a chinese auction and I will be honest, I did not know what it was until I got home. However, my 3 year old knew what it was and was so excited. It took everything in us not to open it in the car on the way home. She played with it for an hour and it broke. We tried to call and email the company with no response. She cried and cried. I called everywhere to find a new one and people laughed at me. My Sister in law waited in line for 2 hours to get her one at a toys r us out of town. Now, she is so afraid it is going to break that she does not use it.

I bought the Zhu Zhu pets back in October because my child wanted them so bad. She has only played with them three times. She became bored with them right away. All they do is make tons of noise and go around in cricles. If you have a cat they are perfect! Do not pay a high price for a toy that will end in the closet the week after Yule.
