Ziploc Twist N Loc Small Round Containers & Lids, 3 ct, 2 Pack

I just love these little suckers. I make a 5-cup batch of arroz con habichuelas. Then I just throw these bowls in the fridge and I don't have to cook again for next 5 days. They're the perfect size for my meal portions and the lid fits perfectly and tight. They're super easy to wash too because of their rounded shape (…and I hate washing dishes).

I've been using them for several years. Excellent product especially for soups and other semi-liquid foods such as spaghetti sauce. It seals tightly, does not leak, and stands up to freezing. If cooking large amounts and freezing much of the results is your goal or mode of operation then these are just about perfect. They can be partially thawed quickly in a microwave and the contents then transferred to pot or pan for reheating. They clean up quite well in the dishwasher too so can be reused many times. The only down side I've found is that if dropped or slammed by other frozen items while in the freezer the plastic edges will chip and, of course, if hit hard enough, will crack. At the selling price they can be replaced inexpensively when necessary.

I was excited about Twist 'n Loc because I've had spills when packing my lunch with other containers. The "no spill" feature appealed to me. It's has been wonderful, but last week I brought broccoli beef for lunch, and the sauce leaked on the important paperwork in my bag. I was disappointed because it has been so effective previously. Is theree a limit to the amount of sauce you put in the container?

I was excited when I saw Ziploc finally made a twist lid. The problem being the lids keep cracking so I've had to throw away 5 cracked lids. I like them enough that I continue to buy, but each time a lid cracks it's a disappointment that the lids aren't built as sturdy as the containers.
