looks strong for material made , bright red , hope thief moves to another vehicle instead of mine. arrived fast and in good shape.
The small hook that's supposed to go around the brake pedal arm doesn't fit around LOTS of cars, including my Mercedes. DO NOT BUY through the web/mail. ONLY BUY through a brick and mortar store where you can return it when it does not fit. And chances are, it wont. With this Third Party Vendor (Unbeatable Sales) YOU WILL BE LEFT PAYING FOR RETURN SHIPPING! Not returnable at Walmart.
I have not yet figured out a way to lock it in place. When I put it between the floorboard and brake pedal on my 2004 Toyota Camry, it will not stay in place, but just falls down lower. I will continue to try to figure out how to place it so as to lock the brake pedal, since I really want to use it to help secure my automobile. I have had for about 1 year the Club pedal to steering wheel lock, and have used it each night. I like it, but since it has the weakness where someone can cut the steering wheel easily and remove it, I thought I should get the brake to floor board lock instead. I am continuing to use it until I figure out how to use the new one. Then maybe I can give the other one to a family member to use if they want it. I like the idea of using these types of locks to create a stumbling block for auto thieves. I think I will soon figure out what I am doing wrong.
