Protection shields are really good to use on sunny days. It eliminates the sweat marks on the shirt. My husband initially hesistated to use it as he didn't like the idea of sticking something underarm. But after using couple of times he is liking it a lot. He doesn't use it on a regular basis but uses it on extra hot days or when he has some meetings.
Well recently I have started sweating profusely under my arms and I was not sure why but it was becoming very annoying in my dress shirts. So I searched the web for ways to prevent myself from sweating or items that would block the sweat from hitting my shirt. I came across the protecting shield pit protectors and have worked wonders for me. Contain my sweat so it would seep through my shirt making it appear that I'm hot when really I'm not. I would say if you sweat under your arms profusely go ahead and invest in this item so you too can have no worries when you raise you're arm.
Ok here's the catch. My husband refuses to use it for office wear!! However, I got him to use it for a special occasion as explained below and for that use case he loved it!!! To clarify the use case, my husband comes from a culture where he is expected to wear heavy silk outfits and dance for hours as part of someone else's marriage celebration. I have previously thrown many of his favorite silk outfits after 1 wear to a dance party because even expensive dry cleaning will NOT remove sweat stains from silk. Voila - these self adhesive pads are the ANSWER!!! They are soft and comfortable and they mold to the shape of your pit. These are just so worth the investment so you're not discarding expensive clothes that un-salvageable from sweat. I would pay more money for this product - that's how much I love them. My husband loves it too!! :)
Fast shipping. Good product.
I don't sweat a lot, but on occasion have been known to throw on an undershirt under my dress shirts just in case. Whether it's a hot day or maybe just a hot date, nobody likes to see you sweat. These pads stick to the inside of your shirt and give an extra layer of protection. When you're done (and before you wash it), you just peel them off and throw them away. They are really intended for looser dress-shirts and you'll find them feeling a little odd if you use them on a tigher fitting shirt. At first, I wasn't a big fan of the feel of them in there, but you get used to them pretty quickly. I wouldn't recommend them for everyday use, but if you want to make sure you have a little insurance against unsightly pits for that important meeting, these might be a good addition to your wardrobe.
One of the most embarrasing things that's hard to control is wetness under your arm that then shows through your shirt. These pads are very effective in sticking to your shirt and absorbing wetness. You will have no more wet stains showing especially during stressful moments. The pads are a generous size and has a light adhesive that makes it easy to apply and stays in place on your shirt.
Some may find it weird, but I have an almost clinical aversion to sweat. I don't like it in any way shape or form...which explains why I also have avoided going to the gym that takes money out of my account every month (that, and my couch is just so much more comfortable!) Anyway, I recently volunteered for a public speaking opportunity where I would be speaking to a group of 50 high school students and would give them a 90 minute tour of my alma mater. I figured I'd be under enough scrutiny from the Bieber-generation for being overly enthusiastic about a school they were essentially forced to visit, and in an effort to keep them from seeing my anxiety manifest itself through the fabric of my shirt, I decided to give these "pit protectors" a shot (the naming convention could be a little more elegant, in my opinion). Aside from a couple failed positioning mishaps, I got the product adhered to the proper parts of my shirt, and after 3 hours of talking and answering questions on a beautiful sunny day in Davis, CA, my shirt remained sweat free! After a few minutes the protectors soften and move swiftly with your clothing. I wouldn't think to use this everyday, but for important events like interviews or weddings, I think these would be really handy to keep around.
I sweat at work , especially with new clients , nerves . Wearing nice shirts I want to protect them . You place these on the shirt (they self stick) and they really do help . After work peel them off and toss . Yes you still have to clean or wash your shirts but you save the fabric from sweat and deodorant damage.
It's great for those days that you have a stressful day in the office or if you have to present and tend to sweat because you get nervous.
Too thin, won't stick on shirt properly, does not absorb moisture... Save your money and invest in another product. Can honestly say it was a waste of my time, money and effort.
